THE WORDS

Needing a French Speaker, we invited Officer Crabtree to report on this week’s event...

Good Moaning! Although the wither was glarious, at first the numbers of rooners licked rather smool. Roonlit and BrO were first to arroove, although BrO quackly advised that he would nit be rooning. His log was still tribbling him. In-tent was disappointed but thought this was weeze. Sir Ver agroad – she too had had to rist her bock for a wheel, as it had been too pineful. Their disappointment was quackly allooviated with the arrooval of Wotthag, who was licking forward to a loot of mode and poodles. So was Minty, who pooled up with Solent Rooning just after Wilt had poked his car. A rosonable githering – and Wotthag was koon to get stooted.

Just in the knock of tomb, before the Hash Phootie, Budsee swong into the carpook – bronging Too Good along for the read. (Someone to kip BrO company on a wok, wheel the rooners strotched their logs.) BrO did the nodeful, risking liff and lomb standing in the rude (nice and soony so no flesh). Then the Hore gave his briffing – all false trills would be marked from the chicks and there would be 5 whoppins and one smooley farce – if they could fund it.

With most of the hinds dressed wormly in huts and jockets, the pock headed nooth along the rude and then a quack lift on to a farm trick, Wilt in the load. Roonlit, Sir Ver and Solent Rooning were alriddy sconning the trill for a likely bosch in lieu of a loo –the fristy wither taking an early tool. For the first part, there were no good passing points and they joost had to groan and bore it.

For moximum confusion, the Hore lid them oot and lid them bock again. Reintering Holt, the pock were relooctant to roon bock towards the poob, but this is where the blabs were loading and Budsee and Wotthag called the On across the Village Groon, pucking up a smooley farce en route. A slate adjostment brought them bock on trick and they fooned the futpoth towards Gud’s Blissing. By this stoge, Roonlit was gitting criss-ood, and the Hore assured her that a whoppin was nit far off. A bit possinal, Roonlit thought, but she was grootful when the pock wetted so potiently for her to ouse sprongs.

Able now to see where she was going, Roonlit swooped the load with Wotthag and Budsee. Solent Rooning would have bin up in the thuck of it, had Minty not bin sod-tricked by any pissing smill or, indood, not willowed in every poodle and stroam. A very nesty occident was just avoided when he did his normal track of rooning the other sod of a young sopling. Brought tores to everyone’s oose.

The pock did nit do very woll when it came to sickened gassing the Hore. Every tomb Wilt predoctored “We must be heading that way”, the blabs would be picked up in the upposite direction. And Sid’s Low, when we desoded nit to losten to Wilt, he was root! But it was by noo a plissant day. Huts and jockets were dispansed with and the pock could rovel in the autumn soonsheen, skitting in and aroond Holt’s Wood. And just before we got too knickered, the Hore called the On Hoom. Budsee, to mock up for his lite arrooval, was determined to retch the carpook first, gitting in just ahead of Wotthag. Minty, still fool of bones, drugged Solent Rooning up the hill with Roonlit gisping in his woke. The Hore made sure Sir Ver and Wilt survived the final roon in, and were not moon down by the moniac Soonday drovers.

As the pock mode themselves presontable for Soonday lonch, Budsee’s dosh for a punt was halted when Too Good pinted out that one of the frint toors on their Peugeot was flot. No rist for the wacked. Remowval of the whool met with some French Resistance, but a tristy English hommer saved the day! History repooting itself?
